Longing for more freedom, joy, better relationships and intimacy with God?
Celebration Bible Church invites you to LIVING FREE: Discovering the Life Jesus Meant for You.
This event features Bill Layle (VP and Director of Counseling at Grace life International) and takes place Friday, November 6th (6:00p - 9:00p) and Saturday, November 7th (9:00a - 12:45p) at Celebration Bible Church in Grandville!
What if the Christian life was meant to feel less like striving and more like living?
What if following Jesus was meant to be freer than it sometimes feels? What if Christ has already made a way for you to experience greater peace, joy, freedom, intimacy with God, and health in your relationships?
Many sincere Christians love Jesus and genuinely want to follow Him, yet still find themselves trying harder, doing more, or wondering why the Christian life can sometimes feel so difficult. Others may be doing well, but simply sense there is more of the abundant Life Jesus came to give.
The answer may not be trying harder, becoming more disciplined, or finally getting yourself together. There may be something important about the Gospel and your identity in Christ that changes how you understand the Christian life.
Living Free is an invitation to discover more fully the Life Jesus came to give you. You will explore who you are in Christ, what can hinder you from experiencing and living from that reality, and what it means to walk in the Spirit rather than depend upon your own strength.
This is not another self improvement program or a list of steps for becoming a better Christian. It is a fresh, biblical look at the fullness of the Gospel and a new way to live: increasingly free from fear, shame, striving, and unhealthy patterns, and increasingly able to experience the peace, joy, freedom, and intimacy with God that are already yours in Christ.
During the Conference, You Will Explore:
• God's purpose for your life and how experiencing the abundant Life Jesus came to give can bring greater meaning, peace, and purpose to everyday life
• Your true identity in Christ and how living from who you already are can bring greater security, confidence, and freedom
• What lies beneath many of our struggles, including fear, shame, insecurity, striving, unhealthy relationships, and personal patterns that seem difficult to change
• Why trying harder often leaves us exhausted and frustrated, and what Scripture means by walking in the Spirit instead
• How Christ's Life changes everyday life, bringing greater freedom in your thoughts and emotions, healthier relationships, deeper intimacy with God, and new ways of responding to stress, conflict, disappointment, and circumstances you cannot control
• Greater freedom in your thoughts and emotions, along with healthier relationships and a deeper, more personal intimacy with God
• What it means to live from Christ, increasingly experiencing Him as your source of peace, strength, security, and Life rather than depending primarily upon yourself
Whether you have followed Christ for decades, are hungry to grow deeper, or find yourself frustrated by patterns you cannot seem to change, Living Free will invite you to see the Christian life through a fresh lens.
You may discover that the Life you have been working so hard to experience is the very Life Christ has already given you.
Registration closes November 2nd, 2026.
