Contest Rules

(Applies to All Contests)

These rules apply to all contests conducted by WJQK-FM (“Joy99”) and/or WPNW-AM (“JoyWorship”), stations of Lanser Broadcasting, Inc. For additional terms that apply to a specific contest, please see the Material Terms associated with that promotion.

1. Eligibility

Unless otherwise specified, all contests conducted by Joy99 are open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years of age and reside in the state of Michigan.

Employees, contractors, officers, directors, and agents of Lanser Broadcasting, Inc., Joy99 (WJQK-FM), JoyWorship (WPNW-AM), other Michigan radio stations, contest sponsors, promotional partners, or any entity involved in the administration of the contest, along with members of their immediate household, are not eligible to participate or win.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase will not increase the chances of winning.

Lanser Broadcasting reserves the right to modify contest dates, rules, or terms at any time. Any material changes will be announced on-air and/or posted on the Joy99/JoyWorship website.

2. Prize Awards

Only one winner or qualifier per household every 30 days is permitted for prizes valued under $600.

If a participant wins a prize valued at $600 or more, they will not be eligible to win another prize of any value for one (1) year from the date of the prize award.

All federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any additional costs or expenses associated with the acceptance or use of the prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. Lanser Broadcasting reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable.

Prizes must be claimed within thirty (30) days of notification unless otherwise specified. Unclaimed prizes become the property of Lanser Broadcasting.

If a prize is mailed, the winner assumes all risk of loss, theft, or delivery issues.

Prizes valued over $100 may be required to be picked up in person at the Lanser Broadcasting studios with a valid photo ID.

For time-sensitive prizes such as concert or event tickets, prizes must be claimed by 4:00 PM on the last business day prior to the event, unless otherwise stated. Failure to claim by that time will result in forfeiture.

Lanser Broadcasting is not responsible for cancellations, postponements, or changes made by event promoters, venues, or performers.

3. Winner Requirements

Winners must provide valid government-issued identification to verify eligibility.

Winners receiving prizes valued at $600 or more must complete and sign an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Publicity Release before receiving the prize.

Winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 for prizes whose cumulative value meets or exceeds federal reporting thresholds.

4. Contest Participation

Lanser Broadcasting is not responsible for telephone, internet, technical, or transmission failures that may prevent participation in a contest.

If a caller is disconnected before their name and contact information are recorded, another caller may be selected.

All decisions made by Lanser Broadcasting management regarding contest administration, winners, and eligibility are final.

All entries become the property of Lanser Broadcasting and will not be returned.

By participating in a contest, entrants grant Lanser Broadcasting permission to use their name, voice, likeness, and hometown for promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.

5. Disqualification

Lanser Broadcasting reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Violates contest rules

• Provides false or misleading information

• Attempts to gain an unfair advantage

• Uses automated or fraudulent entry methods

Contests are void where prohibited by law.

6. Release of Liability

By participating in a Lanser Broadcasting contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Joy99, JoyWorship, Lanser Broadcasting, Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, sponsors, and promotional partners from any and all liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize.

7. Internet and Online Contest Rules

For contests involving online entry:

• Participants must provide a valid email address.

• Limit one entry per person/email address, unless otherwise specified.

• Lanser Broadcasting is not responsible for technical issues, network failures, server problems, incomplete submissions, or human error that may affect contest participation.

Lanser Broadcasting reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend an online contest if technical issues, viruses, bugs, or other factors beyond its control compromise the integrity or proper operation of the contest.

In such cases, Lanser Broadcasting may select winners from eligible entries received prior to the disruption or through alternative means.
