Summer doesn’t just happen around us — it shines through us. We invite you to intentionally be light in your home, workplace, neighborhood, and everyday moments.

• WEEK 1 (June 1st - 7th)

  THEME: LIGHT IN YOUR HOME

  • Joy starts where you live.

  • Be intentional with the people closest to you.

  CHALLENGES:

  • Write a handwritten note to someone in your house.

  • Pray out loud for your family today.

  • Put your phone away for one full hour tonight.

  JOURNAL PROMPT:

  • Where can you shine your light right now?

  • Who is someone that has shined their light with you?

• WEEK 2 (June 8th - 14th)

  THEME: LIGHT AT WORK

  • Joy shines where you clock in.

  • Work is worship.

  CHALLENGES:

  • Bring coffee to a coworker.

  • Encourage your boss.

  • Don’t complain for one full workday.

  JOURNAL PROMPT:

  • How can you shine your light in the workplace?

  • In what ways could your workplace shine a light to your community?

• WEEK 3 (June 15th - 21st)

  THEME: LIGHT IN YOUR COMMUNITY

  • Your neighborhood needs you.

  • Love your neighbors practically.

  CHALLENGES:

  • Pay and pray for someone behind you.

  • Leave a positive review for a local business.

  • Pick up trash on your block.

  JOURNAL PROMPT:

  • How can you add others into your effort to shine your light in your community?

  • What kind of light does your community shine to others?

• WEEK 4 (June 22nd - 30th)

  THEME: SHINE BOLDLY

  • Don’t hide your light.

  • Focus on your courage and faith in action.

  CHALLENGES:

  • Share why Joy99 matters to you.

  • Invite someone to church/concert with you.

  • Post your favorite Joy99 song on social media. (Don’t forget to tag us!)

  JOURNAL PROMPT:

  • How can you overcome your fear of shining your light?

  • How can you help others overcome their own fears?
