Warning Lights with Jenn Amo

Recently, we had the opportunity to team up with YOU and India Partners to provide aid to women and children trapped in the red-light areas of Mumbai, India.

Together, we provided a full year of safety for 14 individuals, exceeding our goal!

However, while this particular restorative effort is a half a world away, human trafficking exists here in West Michigan and prevention is key.

We had a chance to connect with Jenn Amo, who heads up Warning Lights, which is a service designed to help families, churches, schools, and organizations, open up the conversation is a safe way that leads to prevention.

Please learn more about Warning Lights and if you aren’t ready to connect just yet, Jenn shared a couple of ways you can start the path to prevention:

  • Find a way to open up the conversation with your loved ones. Silence is where predators thrive.

  • Admit your mistakes to your children. This creates safety for them to come to you when they make a mistake and helps them feel like they aren’t alone.
