Warning Lights with Jenn Amo
Recently, we had the opportunity to team up with YOU and India Partners to provide aid to women and children trapped in the red-light areas of Mumbai, India.
Together, we provided a full year of safety for 14 individuals, exceeding our goal!
However, while this particular restorative effort is a half a world away, human trafficking exists here in West Michigan and prevention is key.
We had a chance to connect with Jenn Amo, who heads up Warning Lights, which is a service designed to help families, churches, schools, and organizations, open up the conversation is a safe way that leads to prevention.
Please learn more about Warning Lights and if you aren’t ready to connect just yet, Jenn shared a couple of ways you can start the path to prevention:
Find a way to open up the conversation with your loved ones. Silence is where predators thrive.
Admit your mistakes to your children. This creates safety for them to come to you when they make a mistake and helps them feel like they aren’t alone.
