Puzzles

My wife LOVES puzzles. I am terrible at them. But, for Patty, it's not only a challenge, it's an opportunity to complete a tough task.

For Christmas, one of our sons bought her a 1,000 piece puzzle. It was the toughest puzzle she had ever attempted, taking her several weeks and many hours to finish.  But, here it is: the final product!

Uh-Oh.  Do you see it? Look toward the upper right corner. 1 piece is missing. 999 pieces complete. 1 piece is gone.  

We looked under the puzzle. Under the table. In the box. On the couch. It can't be found anywhere. She was so frustrated! And, even after 999 pieces in place, it feels incomplete.

Hmmmm. Think about that for a second: even with 999 pieces in place, the puzzle remains unfinished. And, your life can look complete, but if you're missing 1 thing, like Jesus, you are also incomplete.

This Easter week, are you complete? Or, are you missing the single PIECE to bring you complete PEACE? "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

You have purpose. You have meaning. You are God's masterpiece. Nothing too puzzling about that!
