What Do You Need to Mute?

It happened to me last week. I was sitting on my couch and found myself doomscrolling. I wasn't looking at anything wrong. I wasn't doing anything wrong. I was just aimlessly scrolling.

But then I heard it. The still small voice saying, "Are you spending this much time with me?"  BOOM! Right between the eyes, and into my heart.

I got right up. Cracked open James 1 and began to read God's Word. And, listen to His voice.   

If I want to "Turn up" my faith, and let my life overflow with more of God, I need to spend more time WITH God.  Sometimes, doing even the harmless things (like scrolling on your phone) can mute the voice of God.  (Romans 10:17 "faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ")

What is something you should "mute" to "turn up" your faith?
