Lemon Cherry Cream Cheese Dump Cake
Bright lemon flavor, sweet cherries, and rich cream cheese come together in this easy-to-love dessert that tastes like summer in every bite! It’s buttery, creamy, and perfectly sweet — with all the flavor of a homemade treat and none of the fuss.
Fruit Layers Ingredients
1 can (21 oz) lemon pie filling
1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Cream Cheese Layer Ingredients:
12 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cake Topping Ingredients:
1 box yellow cake mix
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350°
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish
Spread the lemon pie filling evenly across the bottom of the baking dish
Spoon the cherry pie filling over the lemon layer, using a knife to gently swirl the two fillings together
Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy
Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture all over the fruit layers…don’t mix in
completely
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix evenly across the entire surface, do not stir
Slowly drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix, covering as much as possible
Bake for 45–50 minutes, or until the top is deep golden brown
The center will still look slightly gooey
Cool Slightly and allow to rest for 15–20 minutes before serving
Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving
