Well, I recently celebrated my birthday AND I had the privilege of celebrating it alongside many of YOU! My birthday happened to line up with our final Sweetest Summer live broadcast at The Parlor by House of Flavors. It wasn’t intentional…just a happy accident. But, something really stood out.
At Joy99, we seek to spread JOY to every person we meet!
We spread JOY through…

…the conversations we have on-air and in person!
…the outreach opportunities you make possible!
…the efforts of the JoyBus!
That JOY looks like…

This is a collection of some of the cards and gifts that I received from many of you on my birthday. While it was totally unnecessary, it totally brought me JOY!
YOU carried out the mission of Joy99 and it was really special to be on the receiving end of YOUR effort to spread JOY!
I share this as an encouragement for you to keep finding ways to spread JOY!
Maybe it looks like…
…sharing a song with a friend that might lift them up.
…making plans with a loved one because it’s been FAR too long since you last connected.
…volunteering your time to give back to our community.
…simply telling someone something you appreciate about them.
The possibilities are endless, and the effort is SO good for your heart!
Every day on the afternoon show, we wrap up the show asking each other, “What brought you JOY today?”, and encourage you to carry this conversation into your own life. Why? Because it’s so good for us to be on the lookout for things that bring us JOY so we can continue to develop that gratitude muscle, and be reminded of the ways that God is at move around us, through us, and through each other.
