Mother's Day

Mother’s Day is a fun day of celebrating all of the hard-working mothers out there!

Being a mom is one of the hardest but most rewarding jobs there is.

For some, this day is one of grief and heartache, especially for mothers who have lost a child, and for those who long to be a mother.

The JoyBus wanted to help bring this group of women joy so we connected with a mom who has experienced great loss with losing multiple children, Melissa.

Melissa dedicates her life to serving the Lord, as well as keeping the memories of her children alive through acts of kindness and support.

Through her wisdom we created a gift for listeners to pick up to bring to those that they know could use a boost of joy.

Each gift was packed with a to go coffee, cups, a pocket cross, journals, as well as perennial flower bulbs that this group of women could then plant and have a reminder each year of God‘s hope and joy.

There were SO MANY wonderful stories of how God is used the Mother’s Day gifts to bring joy to people!

Around 200 women have been reached through this mission!
