National Spread JOY Day
On June 24 it was National Spread JOY Day and so we set a crazy goal of spreading joy to 993 people within 24 hours.
We handed out ice cream in neighborhoods, packed little cars and toys and placed them at playgrounds, parks and baseball fields, waved and wished everyone a good day, put grocery carts back for shoppers…the list went on!
The rainy weather left us with obstacles but we were able to help make 637 individual people smile!
We might not have made our goal but even reaching just one person made our day and hey, there’s always tomorrow!
