The Joy Ice Cream Bus

We did something a little silly to kick off summer by turning the Joy Bus into an ice cream truck!

Through asking our listeners to nominate their neighborhoods, we circled West Michigan handing out free ice cream.

Now, this wasn’t just any scooped ice cream, we wanted this to feel like a real ice cream truck with all of the novelty cones and bars that we could find.

The best thing about these missions were seeing neighbors coming together!

I even heard someone say to another “I haven’t seen you since last year!”.

It’s pretty awesome how a colorful bus and an orange push pop can bring people together.
