Jesus Calling Podcast
I never planned to be in radio.
I kind of fell into it after winning a contest, and for years, I wasn’t even sure where I fit.
I felt like I had to be one version of myself in the secular world, and a “perfect” version in Christian radio.
I didn’t know if there was a place where I could just be…me.
And then, just as everything finally felt like it clicked, my life completely changed; I had a sudden stroke. I had to relearn how to walk, talk, and even think clearly—and for the first time, I had to come to God not as someone trying to hold it all together, but as someone completely broken.
What I’ve learned is that God doesn’t need the perfect version of us. In fact, He does some of His best work through the messy, imperfect parts of our story.
I’m on the Jesus Calling Podcast, sharing how I found my place in radio, what it was like to walk through stroke recovery, and how my brokenness now helps me meet others in their broken places.
