Christmas with Dad

There are a lot of missions that the Joy Bus keeps private out of respect for the families involved.

One of these was when we got word about two sweet boys that were living in foster care while their dad went through the work and steps to better his life and have his sons come back home.

Christmas was approaching and dad had hoped to bring his boys a gift so Joy Bus picked him up and brought him to the store to pick out the items on their Christmas list.

With the wrapping done, we drove the Joy Bus to the foster house and when Dad walked off of the bus, his sons ran to him with eyes wide open.

The gifts were given and the boys were excited about them but the greatest joy was that their dad did something so special for them.
